About Marsha

Marsha brings more than 3 decades of professional experience to the Precision team in clinical practice and healthcare executive roles. As Director of Psychiatric Review Services for the American Psychiatric Association (APA), Marsha led a pioneering effort in one of the first managed behavioral health programs in the United States to develop standards and criteria for utilization management. In the role of Vice President for Clinical Policy/Services for Value Options (currently Beacon Health Options), one of the largest behavioral health management firms in the country, she coordinated clinical operations nationwide for Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid clients. Subsequently, she joined the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), where she provided policy oversight for accreditation of managed behavioral healthcare organizations (MBHOs) and helped develop measures for quality improvement, including a patient experience survey to measure patient perceptions of behavioral health services. Just prior to joining Precision, Marsha served as Vice President of the American Hospice Foundation, where she headed efforts to improve end-of-life care quality.

Since joining Precision, Marsha has provided strategic consultation to clients on engaging with payers to support both unbranded and branded quality initiatives. Projects she has worked on include payer value proposition development, quality navigation road maps, oncology care management and survivorship resources, behavioral health/primary care integration, and quality measure report design.
