About Maureen

Dr. Hennessey leads the Value Transformation Practice, providing innovations, thought leadership, and consultation to support value-based care throughout the healthcare ecosystem.  The practice has gained national attention, garnering PRECISIONvalue a 2021 Med Ad News nomination as a Vision Award Finalist. Maureen has led more than 500 PRECISIONvalue strategic quality and population health initiatives with at least 35 clients in 17 therapeutic areas.

Maureen’s experience offers clients more than 3 decades of insight and perspective as a managed care executive, clinician, academician, innovator, and coach. She has extensive experience as a clinician and executive with health/behavioral health plans, IDNs, and quality and population health management programs.  She originated ground-breaking telehealth and preventive health initiatives, addressing social determinants of health, reducing hospitalizations, and improving patient safety and engagement. These programs have received recognition from eValue8, NCQA, and the National Academy of Medicine, accelerating their adoption today.

Dr. Hennessey is a nationally recognized expert on physical and behavioral health integration. Her training and authorship topics include:  adherence, COVID-19, the infodemic, quality, population health, social determinants of health, and value-based care.
